Fifth Week of Easter
“This is my commandment: love one another.” Jn. 15:12.
Saint. Augustine said, “Love and then do what you will…for he who truly loves God will do only what pleases Him and will avoid all that He dislikes.” Today’s Gospel reminds us that the most important thing that Jesus came to teach us with his life, with his death and resurrection is the commandment of love.
The commandment to love calls us to a new, more committed way of living.
Today, with a gesture or a word, let us bring to life the commandment of love.
