“It must not be like this among you.”  Mt 20:20-28

Today, Jesus teaches us that the way to govern cannot be according to the criteria of this world; It is not power, manipulation, domination, annihilation of differences, but it must be by making oneself small and serving others.

It is difficult to be in this world without being of this world, but to the extent that we allow ourselves to be instructed by Jesus, we listen to his word, we share with him and we live our mission every day in his company and in his own way, we are configuring our hearts to his and we begin to desire what He wants.

May the Holy Spirit help us to discern how to live our mission: at home, in the community, at work, on the street and everywhere. May our lives with one another not be “according to the criteria of the world”, but may everything we see that is not a testimony according to Jesus become for us a “never again”.
