“Lord, you probe me and know me.” Ps. 138Today we remember the guardian angels. Probably, we remember that prayer that we were taught when we were little children, by which we learned that we had an angel who protected us from evil and in which we asked him not to forsake us “neither by night nor by day”. And it because of that, with the passage of time, we become more aware that God never leaves us alone. Today may be the opportunity to, once again, become aware of the love that God has for us, that love that leads him to continue to be surprised with us. Even though He created us, we continue to be a mystery for him. We are a mystery that He never tires of admiring and accompanying. Perhaps it is also the opportunity to remember the mystery that we are and to thank him “because his works are wonderful”. We are his work, the work in which, as Genesis reminds us, “He saw that everything was very good”.
