Only contemplation, silence and entering into deep intimacy with God allows us to delve into the mystery of the passion, death and resurrection of his Son. From the Eucharist and in each of His manifestations in the Gospel, can God give us the answer to the question: “Who is this? is He not the carpenter’s son?” He is the Son of God, incarnate in our history, manifesting himself every day and performing miracles. When faced with a hopeless, anguished culture that has lost the meaning of life; the answer appears: it is God with us. To remember today and to remember Saint Ignatius is to be inspired to “feel and taste” the presence of the living God in the incarnation of his Son and to discover all the “motions” or movements” of God’s love in our lives.
