“Here’s one bigger than Solomon.” Matthew 12:38-42.

The scholars and Pharisees ask Jesus for a sign. And He responds strongly to them, remembering the sign of the prophet Jonah and Solomon, but the reproach was not long in coming and He questions that there was no repentance. Jesus himself anticipates announcing his greatest sign; his death and resurrection, something incomprehensible to many: a Messiah who did good and stood in solidarity with the crucified of the world. Jesus gave his life and rose again in those who sow this Good News. Are we signs, which attract others to God?
