LA ENSEÑANZA

La Enseñanza

TRADITION WITH A FUTURE
Opened on April 23, 1783, it was the first convent-school dedicated to the education of women in the country. The mothers, wives, and daughters of the heroes of the Independence were educated there.

It offers a coeducational education based on Christian-Catholic values, under the guidance and principles of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac. It employs innovative pedagogies geared toward achieving competencies that develop individuality and analytical and reflective skills. It also strengthens English, making it competitive in a multicultural society. It offers immersion programs in Canada for students seeking an experience that opens their minds to new perspectives.

MISSION
To offer a bilingual, Christian, humanistic education that, through a dialogue between faith and justice, faith and culture, faith and science and technology, impacts the holistic development of individuals so that, based on their uniqueness and leadership, they commit to caring for our common home and reach out to humanity.

VISION
By 2026, we will be a school that trains human beings with the skills to develop innovative projects that, based on their uniqueness, find other ways of understanding economics, politics, development, and technology from the perspective of an integral ecology.
