Company of Mary Our Lady Celebrates 100 Years of Educational Presence in Pereira

In an atmosphere of gratitude, remembrance, and hope, the Company of Mary Our Lady commemorated 100 years of educational presence in the city of Pereira—a journey marked by a commitment to integral formation and community building.

It is worth recalling that this jubilee celebration began on February 6 with a solemn Eucharist at the Cathedral, open to the entire city, as a sign of communion and thanksgiving for the educational legacy of the Company of Mary in Pereira.

Continuing this commemoration, a new Eucharist of thanksgiving was celebrated, this time in a setting closer to the educational community, bringing together sisters, collaborators, and friends of the institution. This central moment made it possible to recognize, through faith, the presence of God throughout these hundred years of mission.

The day then continued with a commemorative serenade, creating a festive and fraternal atmosphere and highlighting the joy of celebrating this meaningful anniversary together.

As part of the program, institutional videos were also presented, capturing the most representative moments in the history of the Company of Mary in Pereira. These materials helped recall the educational legacy, the impact on generations of students, and the influence on the city.

This commemoration not only evoked the past but also reaffirmed the Company of Mary’s commitment to humanistic education, projecting itself with hope toward the future and renewing its mission to form individuals of integrity at the service of society.

One hundred years later, the presence of the Company of Mary in Pereira continues to be a sign of dedication, faith, and transformation.
