The New Dawning Project is a proposal for youth and vocation ministry of the Company of Mary, aimed at accompanying personal and community processes of discernment and growth in faith. It arises as a response to the realities and needs of children, adolescents and young people, offering a formative itinerary that integrates life, faith and commitment.
It is configured as a path of accompaniment that favors interiority, the encounter with God, and the construction of meaningful relationships with others. Through individual and community experiences, it invites us to deepen our understanding of one’s life in Jesus Christ, promoting human growth, the maturation of faith and the discernment of one’s life project.
From a dynamic and progressive methodology, the project proposes a continuous training process that goes beyond specific activities.
This itinerary integrates community, formative and spiritual dimensions, and is developed through local and national group meetings, spaces for reflection, spiritual retreats, community work and mission experiences, especially in rural and more vulnerable contexts.
Accompaniment is the central axis of the project, understood as a close and constant journey that allows us to recognize personal processes, guide searches and give meaning to experiences. From this approach, an experience of faith linked to daily life is promoted, in which all persons involved can discover their value, their capacities and their place in the world.
A New Dawning is based on a pedagogy that articulates life, faith and commitment, using an accessible and meaningful language that favors the understanding of experience as a path of search, growth and decision-making. In this way, it promotes the development of a personal and community conscience oriented to service and the construction of a more humane society.
The project seeks to encourage and accompany processes that help to discover the meaning of life in Jesus Christ, strengthen the community experience of faith, promote the knowledge and experience of Ignatian spirituality, It offers spaces of service that allow the apostolic commitment proper to the Christian vocation to be lived.
Its development is organized through an itinerary in stages that invite us to seek and find God in all things, to live for the greater glory of God, to love and serve in the style of Mary, to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, to keep the faith alive and to reach out to others. It is also structured in formative routes that cover the human dimension, Christian formation, apostolic commitment, the participation of families, vocational discernment, attention to situations of risk and the formation of companions.
Thus, A New Dawning is configured as an integral experience that invites each person to discover the meaning of their life, strengthen their relationship with God and assume a commitment to others, from an experience that integrates the human, Christian and vocational dimensions.
