“Be awake, to be prepared.” Mt. 24:37-44

The season of Advent is a path of retreat, silence and interiority to review our lives. What direction is it taking? Is it on paths of attachment and accumulation, on paths of selfishness and indifference, or rather, on paths where spiritual life is food for the soul? This time invites us to live in preparation for the expectation of the Incarnation of the Son of Man. It helps us not to be distracted by the passage of life, stress and fatigue, which lead us to make invisible and deny aspects of human reality such as coldness and indifference in the face of so much suffering, which becomes a cry of pain, which cries out for our transformative action. We are called to be a living hope, to help people regain their dignity that makes them sons and daughters of God.  He makes himself present as a creative and saving action of a new humanity in history.

How are we going to prepare for the Incarnation of the Son of Man?
