LOVE YOUR ENEMIES.   MT 5:43-48

Jesus breaks all the molds that have given rise to human legislation. His vision of the law is for the service of life, of justice. At the center is absolute respect for the person and the denunciation of everything that violates their dignity.

To follow Jesus is to make a difference. He asks of us, in daily life, those small gestures of kindness with those who make it difficult for us, who are like a pebble in the shoe. Being generous with those who flatter us and give us affection is not necessarily the way we show that we have the desire to follow Him. The norm of life that He has given us is love and that love must be generously extended to those who do not understand us and even more, have harmed us.
