“My house shall be a house of prayer” Lk. 19:45-48

Today’s account tells that Jesus drove the vendors out of the temple because his desire was to restore and order the purpose for which it had been built: to be a house of prayer. This does not only apply to physical construction, but Jesus invites us to review the state of our human home, bearing in mind that each one of us is the temple of Christ. To make this possible, prayer becomes the fundamental tool which allows us to become aware of how we are living life and what place we are giving to Jesus. Prayer makes possible a personal relationship with Him and configuration to His way of being and living.
