To achieve a goal we need effort and discipline. Jesus knows that prayer is a fundamental tool for life, but He also knows that remaining faithful in prayer requires forming the habit of doing so and fundamentally the desire to maintain a relationship with God. That is why he proposes to his disciples a parable to pray without being discouraged. Prayer is the space where we recognize ourselves as beings in relationship, where through words, actions or from silence itself, we can externalize what inhabits us internally: the You who, in our case as Christians, is God. Prayer takes on a transformative and liberating meaning when we spontaneously allow what we are experiencing to emerge from our inner self. Afterwards, the peace that dwells in us is the presence of God telling us: I am with you. Let us ask for the grace to stand firm in prayer and to pray for one another.
