Advent 2025 Begins: We Are Hope

Advent 2025 Begins: We Are Hope

This Sunday, November 30, we begin Advent, a profoundly significant time for the Church and for our community. It is a time to kindle hope, prepare our hearts, and open ourselves to the coming of the Lord who comes to transform our lives and our history.

As the Company of Mary, this year we will experience Advent under the theme “WE ARE HOPE,” an invitation to walk with faith, to rediscover joy, and to trust that God, faithful to his promises, always arrives on time.

The first Sunday encourages us to be vigilant, to keep the inner flame burning, and to remember that Advent is not only waiting, but active preparation. We trust that God does not forget his promises and that his presence illuminates every step.

The second Sunday introduces us to a time of reconciliation. Advent is also about returning to our hearts, letting God cleanse them, healing what weighs us down, and beginning anew. Every act of forgiveness opens space for hope to blossom and peace to be reborn.

The third Sunday, known as Gaudete, invites us to joy because the Lord is near. Even in the midst of doubt or weariness, this time reminds us that hope is stronger than fear and that God continues to make all things new.

Finally, the fourth Sunday leads us to contemplate Mary’s “yes,” an act of faith that made life itself possible. She teaches us to trust even when we don’t understand everything, reminding us that hope is fulfilled when we allow God to be born in our hearts and in our lives.

With this campaign, we want to accompany our entire educational, pastoral, and spiritual community on a path of light, renewal, and trust.
