The Company of Mary brings to society and to the Church an educational tradition of more than four centuries, inspired by a Christian vision of the person and the humanism of Michael de Montaigne. Its mission seeks to contribute to the building of a society that will be more just and inclusive, making the Kingdom of God visible. Religious and lay people work together and in dialogue with reality, constantly renew their educational action to respond to the challenges of each context, maintaining an open, dynamic and permanently updated project.
The International Network of Schools of the Company of Mary promotes exchange and interaction between educational communities, fostering an authentic experience of interculturality. This allows us to understand the globality of the world and to form people capable of facing the challenges it presents.
Social Education that transforms realities
The Company of Mary promotes educational processes in contexts of exclusion, aimed at strengthening human dignity, developing capacities and generating social transformation. Its evangelizing proposal promotes the integral care of life, the defense of human rights and intercultural and interreligious dialogue, with a view to a more just, inclusive and participatory society. Through networking with other institutions, it especially prioritizes the accompaniment of women, recognizing their potential to lead processes of change and construction of new realities.
