Camp Ministry
The Mission Camps of the Company of Mary are experiences of encounter, service and commitment that invite you to go out to meet others, especially those who live in situations of vulnerability. They are an opportunity to open your heart, reach out and approach the other with a gaze of mercy, solidarity and fraternity.
Through these experiences, participants share their gifts, abilities and talents, making the message of the Gospel present through words, witness and concrete actions. They are spaces to proclaim and communicate a close, compassionate and merciful God, who deeply loves each person and seeks the good, dignity and fullness of life of all his sons and daughters.
The Mission Camps ministry is intended for students, graduates, teachers and other members of the educational communities of the Company of Mary. Its purpose is to strengthen the human, Christian and social formation of the participants through direct contact, accompaniment and joint work with vulnerable communities in the country.
These experiences favor the development of the sense of social responsibility that characterizes the Educational Project of the Company of Mary. They deepen the foundations of the spirituality that inspires it and strengthen the commitment to a transformative education, based on personal accompaniment, service and the construction of a more just and supportive society.
Mission Camps are held at significant times of the year, such as Easter, the mid-year vacation period, and Christmas time, offering privileged spaces to live the faith in community, grow in social sensitivity, and respond generously to the call to serve others.
