“The sower went out to sow his seed” Lk. 8:4-15

Those who have sown at some time know that sowing is an act of hope and expectation, because it is anticipated that what has been sown will grow and, if possible, bear fruit. Care has a lot to do with the proper growth process, but it is not the only factor that must be considered. Jesus, who knows how to sow, speaks to us through this parable to make us aware of the importance of the land, the disposition, and also the gratuitousness with which growth occurs. Surely throughout our lives, we have had the opportunity to sow different types of seeds, but they have the same strength. God has also sown seeds in us, through other people, some of which we are aware and others we have yet to discover. Let us thank the Lord for his sowing in our lives.
