Third Week of Easter

“Whoever eats of this bread will live forever.” Jn 6:52-59

Once again…obstinate in their models of who God should be, Jesus’ contemporaries and religious leaders did not accept his liberating message, nor could they understand it. That invitation of Jesus to eat his flesh and drink his blood sounded strange and horrible to their ears That gave rise to the most absurd interpretations. If He was not recognized as sent by God the Father, everything else is meaningless. In your case, do you honestly believe that Jesus is the One sent by God the Father?
