“The righteous will shine like the sun.” Mt. 13:36-43

When the disciples ask Jesus to explain the parable of the wheat and the tares, he stops at each of the expressions and does so in a loving and patient way.

We also do not understand many things that Jesus wants to explain to us, and He patiently returns and reminds us of the fundamental things to not deviate from the path.

At the end of the explanation, He tells them that the righteous will shine like the sun. Your reward will be to share the light eternally.

In a moment of silence, let us give thanks for those people who are the light in our lives and who, with their witness, move us to live authentically.
