“I will give you rest!” Mt. 11:28-30

Today’s Word brings us good news, which rests and heals. Jesus invites us to go to Him and to find in His presence the peace we need to continue on the journey.

Tiredness, discouragement and hopelessness sometimes make us believe that the Kingdom is not going to break in and life can become a difficult burden to bear. Jesus, however, reminds us that He is meek and humble of heart and that in His company, we can once again feel our burdens alleviated and live meaningfully.

Today, let us enjoy the silence, stillness, and the moments of intimacy with Him that will help us to recover lost strength and begin again.
