Human relationships enrich us and at the same time challenge us because the woven coexistence with different people is difficult. Offenses, grievances and dependencies arise that need to be reconciled, welcomed. Faced with this journey that Jesus shows us, which is in a community of brothers, his friends ask him to increase their faith.

Our faith is small and needs to be strengthened in order to open itself to the mystery of the other who is inhabited by the Other, the One who gives meaning to existence.

Let us insist on this request to the Lord: “increase our faith” so that we may go out to meet others and discover God present in every brother and sister. With this maturing faith, we can bring Jesus’ plan to life: we are children of the same Father and brothers and sisters among ourselves. Let us pray an Our Father and feel united to all in faith.
